Bishop Luis R. Scott, Sr., is the Founding Pastor of the Ambassadors of Christ Ministries (AOCM). In the summer of 2007, after 20 years of service in the United States Army, the Lord impressed upon him to plant a church in the city of Columbus, Georgia. AOCM is an expanding family of churches both nationally and internationally. There are two churches in Columbus, Georgia; one in San Antonio, Texas; and several missionary congregations in the nation of Colombia.
In August of 2018, Bishop Scott was consecrated a Bishop in the Lord’s Church as a member of Alliance Partners Network International, under the ecclesiastical leadership of Bishop William C. Hackworth, II, who is the International Presiding Bishop. At that time he was also appointed as the first and founding Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of Columbus. Bishop Scott was also appointed to sit on the Apostolic Council of the Alliance Partners Network International.
